Reliability & Maintenance Specialist
As a Reliability Engineer, you play a key role in increasing the efficiency and reliability of our installations. You will analyse our current maintenance strategies, technical processes and draft improvement proposals. You will work closely with our technical team to prevent failures and implement innovations.
Part of your work will consist of hands-on support to the technical team during complex breakdowns, which will help you develop in-depth knowledge of the installations and gain insight into possible areas for improvement.
Your responsibilities include:
Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analyse data to identify recurring failures, minor stops and speed losses. Report findings and develop proposals to increase the reliability and efficiency of our plants. Implemented proposals you secure through training and documentation.
Trouble-shooting support: Provide technical support for complex trouble-shooting, including in the steam and high-voltage systems.
Development and implementation of preventive measures: Investigate the causes of common failures and draw up preventive maintenance strategies. Focus on improving maintenance schedules and increasing the technical availability of plants.
Spare parts and inventory management: Develop and implement efficient spare parts management to ensure availability of critical parts and optimise costs.
Communication with suppliers: Maintain contacts with suppliers for requesting quotes, technical information and innovations. Evaluate their services based on reliability, cost and terms of delivery.
